Siri, My Love
The voice-activated operator comes as a built-in software in iPhone 4S. It can assist you with practically anything similar to a human assistant using your iPhone and perhaps fill you life with a partner, which is a witty, romantic and sarcastic lover. Siri takes to some extent the place where once was a partner to converse with about important things like love and the meaning of life, or where once a secretary was rescheduling appointments, writing emails, reminding you about birthdays and cite for you verses.
A new book, written by David Milgrim, by the name of Siri and Me (the same author of Goodnight iPad), tells us about a new love story, a new relational adventure between man and Siri. As we all know, communication is the key to every relationship. And in this relationship, communication is that makes Siri so exceptional. Siri is design to ‘read our minds’, to understand us better, and react according to this understanding. In a generation of iPhone lovers, Siri is a game changer. Siri is maybe makes it more inmportant to hold in hand the thing that most dear to us: our iPhone, because without, we are disconnected.
Milgrim has once said :“These odd times find many of us sitting alone in front of a screen, searching for connection. Strangely, the experience is so virtually accurate, that it seems to work, at least somewhat. However, one big problem is when it comes to love, which pretty much requires face-time. That is, of course, unless we fall in love with our machines themselves.”
Well, thank you iPhone Siri for being there when most needed. In maybe the lonelienst time in history when we are inseparable from our iPhones.
